Rattan model commemorating the 60th anniversary
A rattan woven seat model of the stacking stool “No.202” created by Isamu Kenmochi, a pioneer in the Japanese industrial design world.The rattan woven version, which was produced from 1963 to 1987, was reissued in 2018 as a 60th anniversary model. The delicate and beautiful Kagome weave detailing enhances the beauty of the curved wood form. *Only the same product can be stacked with this type.

Isamu Kenmochi
He formed the Japan Industrial Designers Association in 1952 with Riki Watanabe, Sori Yanagi, and others, and was a key figure in the early days of Japanese design.In 1955, he established the Kenmochi Design Institute, which has produced numerous interior design masterpieces.
