METROCS (made in Japan)
Robin Day's masterpiece from the British mid-century period

The "Form Group" seating system designed by British designer Robin Day in 1960 has been reproduced under the supervision of the Robin & Lucien Day Foundation. It is one of Robin Day's masterpieces that won the Design Center Prize in 1961.

Instead of the traditional method of sofa manufacturing using wood and springs, the seat cushions are supported by rubber webbing tape. The webbing tape, originally used for the internal structure of the sofa, was brought to the surface and sublimated as a part of the design, which was highly regarded as the most advanced design at the time of its release. The unique yet sophisticated design creates a modern, high-quality space.

Light Arm Sofa with Table 1-Seater is a one-seat, one-arm sofa. The left side of the sofa is a table, which can be used to place your favorite objects to enjoy the interior or as a coffee table to support the comfortable time spent on the sofa, combining design and practicality for a variety of occasions. The seat is 70 cm wide and 53 cm deep, ensuring a spacious and relaxing space. The moderate firmness and elasticity provide firm support for the body, so there is no unnecessary strain on the legs and back, and the body does not sink in too deeply, so standing up is also smooth.

The upholstery is made in Japan from a high quality, wear-resistant fabric that is also used for furniture in public facilities, etc.

Available in five colors, you can choose between the simple, basic NC series and the traditional herringbone pattern of the TRAD series.
