Cutlery That Blends Tsubame’s Traditional Craftsmanship with Modern Design
Unlike ordinary cutlery, which is mostly shaped with curved surfaces, this collection features a distinctive design that resembles countless tiny mirrors. The result is not only a timelessly contemporary appearance, but also an ease of use that continues to surprise with every touch.
Each piece is crafted through 40 to 50 steps, combining both handwork and precision machinery. The flawless finish is made possible by Japan’s world-renowned metalworking techniques. Recognized with the Good Design Award and the iF Design Award, and even included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, this cutlery is celebrated as a true masterpiece.
The matte-finish edition is a limited model, specially produced by METROCS in collaboration with designer Takenobu Igarashi.
Every set comes in an original gift box, making it an ideal choice for special occasions and thoughtful presents.
