Michio Akita / PRIMARIO / Tape Dispenser
A Luxurious Form with Functional Design
Designed by acclaimed product designer Michio Akita, the Primario Series Tape Cutter is precision-machined from a solid stainless steel ingot, combining refined beauty with exceptional functionality. Among the Primario Series products, this tape cutter underwent the most extensive design exploration. While tape cutters are widely available worldwide, creating one carved from a solid stainless steel block is an exceptionally rare approach.
Its simple semicircular form conceals thoughtful details: the tape is positioned at the center, with cutting blades on both sides for comfortable use by both right- and left-handed users. The cutting blade is also seamlessly integrated into the body, achieving a minimalist design with outstanding durability and usability.
