This is a lithograph work by Japanese artist Kumiko Suga (1919-1996), who was based in Paris, France, and acclaimed as "Suga of the World."
It is part of the large-scale "S" series, which was created over five years from 1987 to 1991. The series features works that use a motif of two alphabet S shapes, aligned with one inverted.

Born in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture in 1919. Studied at Osaka Art School and worked as a graphic designer before moving to France in 1952, where he began working in printmaking (lithography) in 1955. He lived in Paris until his later years and was highly acclaimed in France, Europe, and the United States for his unique style.
