Akita Mokko (Akimoku)
Founded in 1910 in Yuzawa City, Akita Prefecture, this woodworking manufacturer specializes in “Mageki (bentwood)" techniques. In today's world where almost everything is produced by machines, the company dares to insist on time-consuming manual work, and its products, which have a warmth that can only be created by the hands of craftsmen, have long been loved by people of all generations.

Isamu Kenmochi
He formed the Japan Industrial Designers Association in 1952 with Riki Watanabe, Sori Yanagi, and others, and was a key figure in the early days of Japanese design. In 1955, he established the Kenmochi Design Institute, which has produced numerous interior design masterpieces.
