“Tsudoi Bachi” means a “gathering bowl”. These dishes are designed for a table with family and friends, to fit perfectly for a pleasant gathering. From various shapes of Japanese traditional dishes, they are re-designed the sizes and colors for everyday dining.
This octagonal shaped bowl has a semi-matte texture & rich mustard yellow color. The linear form and its color make food look modern and bright, and also give a great accent on a table. It is produced in Gifu Prefecture where Mino pottery is famous. Having long history, the manufacturers actively produce pottery with the best knowledges and techniques in this area.

About Glaze

The glaze on each dish is individually different even it is in a same shape. This is because it is remained in natural texture from the kiln, which changes every day depending on the temperature or humidity. Please enjoy the uniqueness of each piece.
